Please be aware that K̲’aayx̲ada Adventure Camp’s facilities are not open to the public. They are for the use of youth camps only. It is very important for the function of our camp seasons that we return to the facilities, equipment, and grounds in the same condition we leave them in. Every season we spend hours chopping firewood for use during camps, only to find it gone when we return. If you would like to have access to the facilities, please reach out to the Executive Director to find out how.

Membership means you support K’aayxada Adventure Camp Society and what we do. In our Constitution the purposes of the society are to "...provide the infrastructure that allows the promotion of outdoor education and recreation in a safe, comfortable, and affordable environment on Haida Gwaii [and] to direct the operations of the K̲’aayx̲ada Adventure Camp”, but it encompasses much more than that. We are a community-led group of people who practice yahguudangang and Haida cultural values. Youth are the central priority in all that the society does. The society upholds these beliefs and functions as the mechanism from which a healthy learning environment is rooted. By becoming a member you show the society that you value the work that we do.
